SCOPE: Environmental Graphics
Custom illustrated “characters” and graphics were created throughout various workspace neighborhoods to represent the values and personalities of the individuals who work in the space. Easter eggs related to individuals’ interests are hidden throughout the illustrations like a stamp collection, movie memorabilia, instruments, and games.
One challenge we faced was mapping out the illustrations for each “portal” so that they wrapped the walls and ceiling in a cohesive way that is true to the actual orientation. For example, The Collector illustration features a large tree that extends above onto the ceiling, it is meant to feel like you are beneath the leafy canopy.
Developing each graphic as a custom character was a really fun exercise. Figuring out how to take a team value or interest and turn it into something tangible and relatable was an exciting challenge.
