Mike is one of the founders and Principals of 3D Identity with 20 years of creative, marketing, sales and leadership experience. Mike has a passion for helping clients bring their brand to life through visual storytelling. He loves transforming the workplace into an inspiring place where employees thrive. Mike is outcome focused and asks great questions that help align business strategy with business goals. His devotion to relationships has fostered engagement with local and global brands from Molson Coors to Send Grid. In his free time, he runs a junior cycling program for children and when he is not spending time with his family, he is skiing or biking everywhere.

JoJo Starling

Project Manager | A Strategic Mind

JoJo brings a wealth of brand strategy and project management experience to 3DID, helping drive projects from conception to completion. Her passion is creating engaging consumer experiences across multiple mediums. Jo has led campaign development for traditional brand advertising and fundraising events as well as environmental graphic development, fabrication and installation; her strength is coupling creative solutions with effective project management. Jo will help drive the entire creative process to ensure the project is completed on time and on budget, managing minute details while keeping the big picture in scope. JoJo is a Colorado native and graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder (go Buffs!) with a degree in Advertising. She enjoys an active “Colorado Lifestyle” hiking, running and skiing with her husband and pup.

Brandon Bird

Designer | A Curious Mind

Bird is an environmental graphic designer and has 20 years of professional design experience, with a diverse background including architecture, interior design and graphic design. He has a keen knowledge of materials and fabrication methods and specializes in unique design solutions for themed environments, including offices, schools, hospitals, art installations and exhibits. His attention to detail makes him finely attuned to how users move through and interact with spaces. Bird grew up in Ohio and attended the University of Cincinnati, School of Architecture & Interior Design. He lived in Boston for 15 years, is a competitive runner and has completed the Boston Marathon eight times. He moved to Denver with his wife in 2016 and together they love discovering the booming “foodie” scene.

Jamie Causey

Designer | A Confident Mind

Jamie joined the 3D team after graduating from Kansas State University with her Masters in Interior Architecture and Product Design. Her spatial planning and intuitive understanding of three dimensionality are ideal for creating experiential design solutions for our clients. Jamie couples this with a keen understanding of materiality and fabrication techniques, ensuring final installations honor design intention. She has a broad range of experience, including an internship in Iceland working on a new interface for a robotic ankle and designing and implementing festival experiences for DropBox and Naked Juice for SXSW in Austin. Outside the office, she enjoys finding design inspiration through travel, art, and reading.

Kyle Starrett

Designer | A Visual Mind

Kyle is a graphic designer at 3DID with experience in print and digital advertising, branding and environmental design. His background in advertising and marketing honed his skills at delivering messaging through visuals to elevate brand engagement. Kyle excels at intentional design that reflects brand identity and uses powerful imagery to achieve distinct mood and tone. He is a Colorado native and graduate of University of Northern Colorado School of Art & Design where he earned his BA in Visual Communication & Design. Outside the studio, Kyle will likely be found on the golf course when the sun’s up and the movie theater when it goes down. Our resident theater critic also enjoys camping, photography, and, most of all, being with family.

Courtney Gambrell

Designer | A Thoughtful Mind

Courtney is a traditional graphic designer with expertise in corporate identity, package design, event promotion and photography. She excels at creating lasting brand recognition through unique combinations of imagery, composition, type and materials. Her experience across multiple mediums helps ensure messaging consistency for maximum impact. Courtney graduated from S.C.A.D in Savannah, GA with a BFA in Graphic Design and has lived and worked across the globe. A Colorado Native, she grew up in Vail and now lives in Denver with her husband and daughter. They enjoy the energy of the city and escaping to the mountains to take in the quiet beauty of the Rockies.

Julia Thummel

Designer | An Open Mind

Julia is an environmental graphic designer with a multidisciplinary background. She draws from her experience in branding, advertising, and web design, as well as a natural curiosity and knack for research, to create bespoke and informed designs for clients. Julia’s passion for placemaking is influenced by her love of brand storytelling. Her ability to understand a brand at multiple points of interaction, from the smallest details to the big picture, is what helps her make intelligent designs that work. Originally from Chicago, Julia’s love for design is rivalled only by her love for good quality pizza. She graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a BFA in communication design, and traded the Chicago skyline for the mountains of Denver shortly after. A city girl at heart, Julia loves exploring downtown Denver in her free time.

Scott Gury

Manager, ArtPro | An Artful Mind

Scott is a graphic designer at 3DID with a background in print and environmental design. With a long history in the print and design industry, Scott brings a wealth of practical and creative experience to every project. He excels at gaining an understanding of customer needs, and through collaboration with his team and the client, bringing them to life with successful completion. He is a Colorado native and graduate of Colorado State University, where he earned his BFA with an emphasis in Graphic Design. Scott enjoys spending time with his twin boys and beautiful wife, and enjoying what this great city and state have to offer.

Chase Meyers

Designer | A Dimensional Mind

Chase is an award winning designer that joins the 3DID team with 10 years of professional design experience and a diverse background comprised of industrial design, experiential graphic design, graphic design, interior design, sculpture, product design and architecture. He specializes in custom installations, using 3D modeling and having extensive knowledge as well as hands on experience with production and fabrication. His passion for design has brought him many opportunities across the US, Europe and Asia with projects that include sculptural art, custom light fixtures, themed environments, mixed-use developments, hotels, retail spaces, residential complexes, schools, festivals and exhibits. Chase grew up in Austin and attended Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, where he played basketball and volleyball while earning his BS in Industrial Design. After traveling the country in an RV for six months, he moved to Colorado. Chase resides in Evergreen with his talented wife, two energetic boys, a beautiful baby girl, a mini horse, a pony, and a puppy.

Elizabeth Faraci

Business Development | An Artistic Mind

Elizabeth brings over 15 years of consulting and business development experience to 3DID, specializing in environmental and experiential graphics. Her ability to listen and integrate her knowledge of people, processes, materials and install methods make her a key partner. Also, as an artist, she has a keen eye for color and overall aesthetic, which is an added value to any project. Elizabeth graduated from Pitzer College in Claremont, CA with a B.F.A and has a Master’s degree in Art & Design Education from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. She has 3 kids and a corgi, and spends most of her free time creating art and cooking.

Marissa Mercuri

Project Manager | An Experiential Mind

Marissa's passion for "the experience" in travel and culture guides her passion at work, which is to create an unsurpassed customer experience. With over 17 years' in sales, operations, program management and event planning, her attention to detail and tactical organizationial skills are inherent in the way Marissa tackles projects. Graduating from Arizona State University with a degree in business and sociology, Marissa quickly established herself as an organized yet fun team player. Outside of the office, Marissa enjoys hosting dinner parties, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
